Hi! I’m so glad you’re here where I can share a bit about myself and my journey as an artist, author, and teacher.

I developed a love for painting in High School and studied art and history at the Ringling School of Art and Design as well as Palm Beach Atlantic University. While I painted occasionally after that, art wasn’t a driving focus for me until I had a simple yet life-changing encounter with God as a young mother. I share about that encounter in the video above.

Creative process became a meditative place of healing for me as my passion for painting was solidified in 2016. I began painting nearly every day as an act of worship to God, and often experienced His presence in the room as I created. It was a deeply personal time and space where my spiritual journey and creative process merged. To my surprise, I quickly started selling work.

Around this time I was given the opportunity to start and lead a team of artists at my church who painted during the worship service. Week after week the team had testimonies of powerful spiritual encounters for them and members of the congregation. This was further evidence to me that art and the creative process are profoundly able to impact the human soul.

It was in this season that I started teaching out of my home studio. Time and time again students would experience emotional and spiritual breakthrough while in the creative process. I began to notice patterns and common themes that came up for my students as they pushed through their personal creative barriers. Issues of perfectionism, fear of failure, and comparison were brought up and dealt with on the canvas. Hearts were being set free as they bravely engaged in the freedom of painting.

After wrestling through my own creative blocks of perfectionism, fear of failure, and comparison (and receiving a couple powerful confirming words from other believers) I began the journey of writing my first book We Are The Maker’s: Partnering With God & Releasing Heaven on Earth. Since its release in December 2021 I’ve received several testimonies of God using this book to draw readers into deeper relationship with Him, and into greater freedom in their creative process.

Through this journey with God I have discovered that I am most passionate about facilitating connections between The Creator and His children. Wether it’s through my paintings, books, or classes my motivation is seeing the moments of clarity that come when someone opens their heart to the voice of God their creator. THAT is the most beautiful thing we can experience in this life, and I’m honored to get to be a part of it!
