Inspired by the Shulamite’s journey in Song of Songs, these original oil paintings point to the storyline we all share—the wilderness, the glory, and our divine duet with Holy Spirit.
The Desert Romance collection consists of 7 gold leafed oil paintings on stretched canvas. Each inspired by a verse from the Song of Songs. This book of the Bible has always been special to me, but while writing my first book Come Up Here (set to release this summer) I was deeply inspired by the vivid imagery throughout the ancient book.
We can find ourselves in the pages of this love story, if we have eyes to see. The thrill of new love with Jesus. The invitation He gives to stretch and call us higher. The devastating reality when we deny those invitations. And the lovesick longing that ultimately drives us to holy surrender and a life of adventure with Him. May you find yourself in the beautiful words of this book, and fall deeper in love with your Bridegroom King!
