Studio Art: Watercolor Landscapes

Studio Art: Watercolor Landscapes
This art course is designed to develop the student’s watercolor landscape skills through a 4 week study in a group setting. Growth in skill and technique will be encouraged throughout the process. Prior painting experience is not necessary to be successful, as this class will be accessible to all skill levels. We will cover watercolor painting of landscapes. Through applied technique and practice you will see progress by the end of the class. Watercolor is a meditative and challenging medium that artists have used throughout history.
This class will be on Thursdays 3:45pm-4:45pm, starting February 12th-March 5th. After registering for the class, the students will receive a syllabus via email with a supply list. These supplies are to be used by the student at home for their daily sketchbook assignments. All supplies needed in class will be provided. Classes can not be made up or refunded if missed.
I’ve taught homeschool students and adults for seven years, both studio art and art history, out of my studio and in co-op settings. I have a Bachelors degree in History & Art from Palm Beach Atlantic University. I’m passionate as a teacher in helping students develop their personal style/voice while discovering the profound God given gift of creativity within them.
